Most roof leaks don't start as emergencies. They start as something small - a missing shingle, a cracked seal, a tiny gap around a flashing. Then it rains. Then it rains again. And before long, that small issue turns into water dripping through your ceiling, rotting out your decking, and spreading damage to the inside of your home.
That's the thing about roofs. The damage you can see inside your house is almost never the full picture. By the time water is actively dripping from your ceiling, it's already worked its way through multiple layers - shingles, underlayment, decking, insulation. The interior damage is just the last stop.
We see this a lot heading into fall. Storms roll through, temperatures drop, and roofs that were already showing wear don't have much left to give. Wind, rain, and freeze-thaw cycles are hard on aging materials. If there's already a weak spot up there, the weather will find it.
The good news is that catching it early makes a huge difference. A thorough roof inspection can identify problem areas before they become full-blown failures - and in a lot of cases, a targeted repair is all it takes. We do free inspections because we'd rather show you exactly what's going on up there than have you guessing.
If you've noticed water stains on your ceiling, granules collecting in your gutters, or shingles that look curled or cracked, don't sit on it. The longer a roof leak goes unaddressed, the more it costs to fix. We're here when you're ready.
