Most people think of us as a roofing company. And yeah, that's a big part of what we do. But masonry work - concrete, stone, all of it - is just as much in our wheelhouse. Steps that are crumbling or uneven are more than an eyesore. They're a liability. And a poorly laid walkway doesn't just look bad, it gets worse every season.
Here's a look at two types of masonry work we handle regularly. Fresh concrete steps poured and finished clean for a home's front entry - wide, solid, and built with consistent rises so every step feels the same underfoot. No wobbling, no cracking edges, no guessing when you step off the last one in the dark. That kind of uniformity matters more than people realize until it's missing.
We also do stone work. Laying a flagstone or paver walkway isn't just about dropping slabs on the ground. The base prep, the joint spacing, the way the path curves and meets the surrounding surface - all of that takes real skill. We sweep the joints tight so nothing shifts over time and the whole thing stays level season after season.
What we don't do is cut corners on the prep work or rush the finishing. Concrete poured right the first time doesn't need a callback six months later. Stone set properly doesn't heave or tip. It's that simple. We take the same approach to masonry that we bring to roofing - do it right, or don't do it at all.
